about

Second to last song of of our demo EP (Tweaker in the Stairwell). Yes, it's political, but 20% political sounds reasonable, n'est-ce pas?

lyrics

THE ZEALOT

The charge is murder.
What zealotry incites the mob!
Abomination
Is the stock in trade of any god.

A revenant waves from the starboard rail
That sinister ship must never sail.
He's a skeleton man from the outer cold,
Who's waiting for a nightmare to unfold

Does he know ?
Just what he sows?
Does he know how the current flows...
So deeply...?

Now Mother Nature
Is gnawing on the beggar's bowl.
She cannot rule you.
She's cannot rule you from a hole.

He's a thoroughbred colt from the government.
He's a fossilised leech from the sediment.
With the fathomless eyes of a deadly snake,
And a hideous thirst we cannot slake.

Does he know ?
Just what he sows?
Does he know how the current flows...
So deeply...?

He's a spurious figure of power and dread,
Who suckles on the organs of the dead
We were looking for the one who might have been,
When he euthanised a mouse with a drawing pin.
with a pin...!

Does he know ?
Just what he sows?
Does he know how the current flows...
So deeply...? So darkly...? So deadly...?
